After starting up pool this year, Screenlogic shows salt concentration to be zero even though actual reading is about 3500.
Will need to check if the cell is communicating with the system to begin with or if the sensor on the cell is not reading the salt level, you will need to check if the cell is reading low salt or not?
I don't think the cell is communicating with the system. I can change the % output on the app but the Intellichlor doesn't change. App controls other functions like pumps, lights, valves, etc fine. By chance is there a software upgrade I need? Notice the app has been upgraded. My problems in the past have usually been software related.
I have a similar problem. My IC40 (installed 2014) is not reporting the salt level to EasyTouch panel. Yet the IC40 shows "good salt" (Green light) and the salt level tests at 3800ppm. The IC40 is producing chlorine and is otherwise fine. How do I check if the cell is not reading the salt level?
UPDATE: I cycled through the EasyTouch display menus and the chlorinator diagnostics page showed the IC40 status as "OK-No Errors" but salt at 0 ppm. After doing a diagnostic "self test" on the EasyTouch panel, the IC40 now shows a flashing green (High Salt) and my intelliPh controller now shows 4600 ppm. However, the EasyTouch still shows 0 ppm and "OK-No Errors"! I re-tested the salt level in the water (via the Taylor K-1766 kit) and get a consistent 3800 ppm. Where do I go now??
I have this same problem, IC40 has all green lights, shows good salt level and is producing chlorine. However the easytouch control system shows 0 salt level. Also when doing a diagnostic on the chlorinator it shows salt:0 status: OK-NO ERRORS The salt level in the pool is at 3500ppm when tested manually. How do I get the easytouch and phone app to show what the salt level is?
