Hi,
I closed my pool for the winter and want to make sure I do everything correctly regarding the IntelliChem.
I removed the pH and ORP sensors and stored them, using the IntelliChem winter kit (with the liquid provided in the kit, and the screw on caps). I removed the pH and ORP cables that run from the flow cell to the IntelliChem controller, to store them indoors with the sensors.
I also drained and unscrewed the flow jar, to store indoors.
I have two questions at this point:
1.) Should I remove the white piece that screws to the top of the flow cell? (According to the user guide, I think it's the "Flow Switch Sensor with Magnet")
2.) Should I do anything with that U-shaped plastic piece that the flow jar is normally surrounding? There seems to be some liquid in there.
I would remove the flow switch and plug the hole where it screws into, this will prevent water from entering the flow cell and getting trapped.
Thanks for the info. I went ahead and removed the flow switch. Should I also remove the magnet from the flow cell?
Also - do you know what size plug would fit into the hole that the flow switch screws into?
Hi. I'm following up regarding the last post I had. Thanks.
