Able to configure screenlogic, but ScreenLogic just gives black screen

Everything worked find until a week or so ago. Suddenly, the ScreenLogic app could not connect, nor could the ScreenLogic Connect windows application. I rebooted the protocol adapter (even tried a paperclip reset on it) and now parts of it work and parts do not.

If I open "ScreenLogic Connect", it shows the correct system and IP address. If I hit the "Configure ScreenLogic" button, everything works fine. I can change configuration, exit, get back in and it knows the configuration change. However, if I hit the "Start ScreenLogic" button, it just brings up a blank (black) screen. The only choice I have is to close it. I have gone as far as rebooting my windows machine and I still get the same behavior.

When I use the Pentair ScreenLogic app on my phone, it comes up fine (after the protocol adapter reset mentioned above). Everything I've tried appears to work fine except if I go to the "History" screen. When I go to the History screen, the screen background (temps on the left, times on the bottom) shows, but I just get the spinning "wait" indicator. No history ever fills in.

Finally, I just installed the Alexa skill and it appears to work fine.

So, what would cause the windows "Start ScreenLogic" to just bring up a blank screen, and the phone app to not be able to show any history.

I'm running 5.2 Build 733.0 Release.

Usually when you see a black screen when logging in, this may require an update on the protocol adapter, in your update screen on our website, you will need to run the step 1 protocol adapter update.

I was already running 5.2

I was already running 5.2 Build 733.0, but the update did the trick (ScreenLogic once again connects, and history on the phone app once again shows history). I guess a reinstall beats a restart.

I ran into the same issue today with 5.2 Build 736. I tried the above steps without success. However, I did finally get it to work by right clicking and running Screen Logic connect as administrator.
