Cannot access Easytouch 8 via Protocol adapter after updating firmware

My system (ET8, Protocol adapter with wired ethernet, ET wireless controller) was working fine.

I updated the Protocol adapter to Firmware 736 on March 2.

When I connected after that with the Android app, it had sensors and temp history but no circuits or controls.

The wireless control and main control both work fine.

Today I tried to cycle power on it. First I unplugged/replugged the ethernet. Lights went back on, but could not even connect to it via Android app any more.

Then I cycled power on the ET8, and still can't connect to it.

The apps try to local-connect but fail.

To make it more interesting, but router said that the protocol adapter dropped off the network when I pulled the cable or power, and it has not shown up again.

How do I tickle the protocol adapter into coming back to life?
Once that happens, how do I make the circuits and settings show up in Screenlogic [Connect] again?
