Heating circuit booster pump

I have just installed an 11 kW heat pump in a dedicated circuit for my new 11 000 litre plunge pool.

I currently use my old filtration pump (1hp, 230 liter/min = 13.8 m3/h) for this circuit but apart from it probably using an unnecessarily large amount of electricity, I believe it may not be ideal (too large a volume throughput) for such a heat pump. The heat pump manual only says 'Water flow volume 3.5m3/h' without stating whether that is a minimum requirement or the ideal and the supplier cannot say with conviction what it means.

I'm thinking of installing a 0.5hp pump such as the Leisuretime Solar 400 instead. Does anyone have an idea whether this would work OK with an 11 kW heat pump? (I don't need a high head pump).
