Pentair IC40 Flow Indicator

I have an IC40 chlorine generator that has operated properly for years. I acid clean it regularly and it has no blockage, but the flow light now stays red continuously. I checked the flow switch and it is clean and operates properly. But just to be sure, I purchased a replacement switch and installed it. It is correctly oriented and there is more than adequate flow through the generator. I even went so far as to short out the leads going to the generator from the switch and the flow light remained red. Is there anything else I need to try before I replace the entire unit?

You can manually check the flow switch by taking it offline supplying power to it and press the button, if this does not work you may need to replace the cell.
