I have an IC40 chlorine generator that has operated properly for years. I acid clean it regularly and it has no blockage, but the flow light now stays red continuously. I checked the flow switch and it is clean and operates properly. But just to be sure, I purchased a replacement switch and installed it. It is correctly oriented and there is more than adequate flow through the generator. I even went so far as to short out the leads going to the generator from the switch and the flow light remained red. Is there anything else I need to try before I replace the entire unit?
