Pump randomly shuts off

Hello. My Pentair IntelliFlo VS-3050 randomly shuts off. I have an Easy Touch 4 controller. My pool setup is simple. Basically a high flow and low flow and a 2 position diverter valve. I have no schedules programmed. Most mornings before I leave for work I have to turn the pump on. Most evenings when I return home, I have to turn the pump on. I have tolerated this for 1-2 years. It does not randomly turn back on. Soon we go away on vacation for 2 weeks and I cannot have the pool idle, stagnate for such a long time.

What can you suggest I check, investigate?
Is there a way I can bypass the Easy Touch and control the pump manually?

Thank you.

The system has a built in 12 hour egg timer. Anytime you turn something on manually, it runs for 12 hours and turns off. Add a program for 8am to 7:59am. Press reset on the automation system

Thank you for the reply. I am not sure I have this correct yet. I programmed a Schedule 0800 Start and 0759 Stop. I Reset the system using the remote but the problem continues. This morning I set the Schedule again but Reset the system at the Panel. I will need to wait 12 hours to see if whether the Egg Timer default is controlling. I read in the manual "If you program the start and stop times the same, the schedule will run for 24 hours if scheduled to run for one day." With my goal to not have the pump shutoff, will it help if I program a 0800 Start and 0800 Stop for all days? Is the Reset using the remote the same result as the Reset at the panel? Thank you.
