System installed last October by professionals. I have been using the ScreenLogic app since with little or no trouble. Beginning yesterday the system will not connect locally but will connect remotely. What can I do to correct this problem?

Hi Dennis, usually this means something on your local network (most likely on your PC) is blocking ScreenLogic from connecting. Antivirus and firewalls are the usual culprits.

Thanks. I am pretty much a rookie at this, but so you know I have only ever access this on my iphone 5s, iphone 7 and a couple of different ipads. The pool people set this up and it has worked well since the install in Oct 2016. Don't quite see with my system how locally I would be shut out of the Pentair but remotely I could access it using cellular data internet connection. But I have been able to connect remotely even while on the local wifi and along ways away connecting remotely but standing right next to the equipment I cannot access the system "Locally". This has been going on for about a day or so. Now when I went back to it, I cannot even access it remotely. The error message says that could not connect to relay server. So I am going to power down the screenlogic device in the tower. Now I am capable of accessing the system via local but remain unable to access remotely. Please help. Thanks

Dennis, I have the same problem with my ScreenLogic App. When Local connection mode is selected it does not go past searching for the System Controller. The equipment and pool was installed August 2017. The pool builder did not fix this issue. David mentioned it could be a firewall preventing the controller to communicate through the network.

David, the controller is connected directly to the network through a LAN line. Do the firewall settings in the modem need to be changed to allow the Controller to communicate?
