Couple of days ago, we cleaned the filter as normal and started up the pool again. That is when we noticed the Intellichlor not working...it shuts down immediately following the 2 minute test.
We then cleaned the salt cell (did have some buildup) and we visually inspected Flow/temp sensor. We did a Restart, same problem.
On the intelli touch pad on the wall...we get the error message COLD WATER SHUT OFF...which is more likely just the only error it has programmed in it? Our water is roughly 86 to 90 degrees here. The display reads the correct temp of the water...it is scrolling down into the menu, the cold water shutoff message is found.
Any ideas on how to check what the problem is? or is this...replace and cry.
The unit is about 3 years old, but the salt cell is only 2 years old.
p.s. Yesterday morning when the pool turned on..the thing worked all day...this morning it was back to shutting down after the 2 minute test.
