my 2 month old Super Flow Variable Speed pump is getting an error code 02 and doesn't run. Is there any way to reset this?
There would not be a reset for this matter, the error code 02 is showing a voltage issue that will need to be corrected. In the manual shows this code being Absolute Phase current limit exceeded on page 16. It would be advised to have an electrician review this matter.
Richard, I need to open the pump to free the impeller that is jammed .. do you have any instructions on how to do that - i.e which bolts to remove etc etc ?
tried doing it thought the strainer and i cant seem to free it
After I read the post from Richard (Pentair Tech) I was about to panic having to deal with the maker and retailer where I got my Pentair SuperFlow; but I read in another forum a solution to a similar issue and I decide to try it first. For what I tried I did not have to take the pump apart or call an electrician I just shot down all power to the pump at the breaker panel, released the water pressure at the filter, removed the pump strainer lid and with my hand/fingers I reached the impeller thru the strainer chamber and I was able break away some sand particles from the propeller and making sure I could feel the impeller free to turn on both directions. After putting everything back together I fired up the pump and away it went with no problem.
I was back flushing and 20 sec into it the pump shut off with Error 0211. I did the steps in El Chavo's post and the pump started up normally. Thanks
