Hello John,

There are 4 more settings for you to use. Also here are some site you can view.

You would need the Intelli-touch

thanks for the info but i read that the easy touch 4 is compatible with the screen logic .also i want to know what extra features does the easy touch 8 has over the 4 .the technician that is working at the pool says to me that the easytouch system is good for me . i already have a working pool the only thing i need to do si automate what i got.the intellitouch i think is to much for me . please clarify to me these point because im planning to buy a easy touch 4 system. thanks for the help.

The difference between the 4 & 8 is 4 more relays, nothing more.  If you certainly need an Easytouch 8 at minimum as long as those valves are intake, return, and two custom valves.  If you need more than two custom valves, you must get an Intellitouch.

Do you wish to turn on multiple things with one button press?  If so, that requires a macro (intellitouch only).

thanks for the help now that you mention the intellitouch i want to know what intellitouch system is best for my pool/spa system.and where i can get a good pfice for it.i will appreciate your help.

 thanks

An i9 would be what you need if you choose Intellitouch.  I can't help with prices though.

thanks for the info. my primary question is: in what functions does the intellitouch i9 is better than the easytouch 8.

Intellitouch features that Easytouch doesn't have:

Expandable to 40 relays

Two extra feature circuits

Expandable to control three extra valves per board

Can control 8 Intelliflo's vs. two

99 program max vs. 12

Larger remote screens

Controls more spa side remotes

Home automation control support via i-link adapter

Macro support (activate multiple circuits via one button press)

Hopefully I didn't miss anything.

ok thanks.i think that is too much for me.i need to do just this things:

control 2 valves automatically maybe 4, i already have two valve actuators model CVA-24 compool

basic light control, light are already installed

control one gas heater brand mini nt

measure the heat temperature

manage 3 pool pumps

a blower

and im planning in installing a solar system to for the pool to warm the water.

so thats all i need to control

thank you for your help

The valves are what concerns me.  Easytouch will control intake and return valves for pool/spa switching, these cannot be assigned to anything else.  It has two assignable valves left, but solar will consume one of those.

You're right Tony, Easytouch can do color swim now.  I'll edit my post.  Thanks for checking me.
