Does freeze protection override all other programming on the SunTouch controller?

It has been very cold lately and the freeze protection has been on and the auxilurray pump is not turning on to power the pool sweep.  So I was wondering if the freeze protection is overriding all other programming?

Correct, freeze protection overrides everything.
