The power light is red on the cell and it is not generating chlorine. I read this is because the temp sensor is bad. Is this true?
Also I have a cell that shows low salt but my salt level is fine. 3000 PPM on digital meter? What would the problem be? Also cell was cleaned so it's not that.
Thanks for your help.

The power light will turn red if the temp sensor is out, yes. However, that will not stop the cell from producing. That would typically be caused by very low salt (in the cell's eyes), or a cold water cut-off situation.
Depending on the version of that cell showing low, replacing the temp sensor could resolve that. Keep in mind that the low light activates around 2600 (depending on the version). The accuracy between the cell and any other test method is easily +/- 500 ppm. We recommend more than 3000 ppm anyhow, so I'd suggest adding some salt either way.
