Sta-rite 1.5 hp with emerson 1081 pool motor.
Pump has recently started to whine. It seems to run fine but is making a lot of noise. Can you oil these pumps?

That's probably a bearing starting to fail. They are not designed to need lubricating, they are typically just replaced.
