Inspired Pools—Celebrity Edition
It’s no question that there’s a fascination surrounding the lifestyles of celebrities. Whether it’s reality TV that allows a glimpse of the day-to-day or just general human curiosity, it’s hard to pass up a chance to see how famous people live.
Your pool is your backyard paradise. It’s where you go to unwind, play and exercise. It turns out many celebrities share the same love of pools we do; they just tend to build on a larger scale. From resort-quality entertaining spaces to jaw-dropping infinity-edge pools, this list showcases some pretty amazing features. You may even be inspired to add a few new items to your pool wish list!
Drake—Hidden Hills, California
If you haven’t seen pictures of recording artist Drake’s outdoor playground, prepare to be amazed. The torch-lit grotto section of the pool is a true standout. I’ve seen this only one other time, in a resort in Maui. The entertainment value just doesn’t stop—there’s a swim-up bar, massive outdoor fireplace and (of course) double waterfalls. From a beach volleyball court to an ornately carved pool table, the scene is set for a spectacular time.
Cher’s former home features an infinity-edge pool that’s just a mile from the beach. The entertainer has a love for color and beautiful things. Cher invested much time and effort helping with the Italian-Renaissance design.
Marc Anthony—Case de Camo Resort, La Romana, Dominican Republic
Singer Marc Anthony’s Caribbean spread (it’s too big to be called a house) features a sand-bottomed pool surrounded by guest villas. Another inviting feature of this oasis is a poolside tiki bar.
Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen—Los Angeles, California
The home of supermodel Gisele Bündchen and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady boasts an incredible infinity pool that looks like a private lake. Their lounge deck offers views of the city, as well as the Pacific Ocean beyond.
