My Aqualink and my lawn irrigation controller talk!!

For several years now, my wife complains that when I switch on the irrigation for the summer, it affects the Aqualink which controls the spa heater.As a professional engineer over 30 years, I have stated that this is impossible.  Both systems are hard wired systems without telemetry.
