Swimming Pool Games: Marco Polo

This is a classic pool game! Designate one person as “it”. That player closed their eyes and count to ten while the other participants try to “hide” by swimming away in the pool. When the count is up, the “it” tries to find the other players. To help find them, “it” can call out “Marco” and the other players have to respond with “Polo”. When someone is tagged, they become the new “it” and the game starts over. Back to Main Games PageSee More

Swimming Pool Games: Cannonball Competition

Have everyone line up behind the diving board. Designate some people as judges to rate each cannonball on splash size, form and creativity. To make it more interesting: Add a twist that requires a judge to call out “CANNONBALL” or “DIVE” as the participant jumps off the diving board. The participant will be scored based on how well they perform the required action. Back to Main Games PageSee More

Swimming Pool Games: Water Colors

One person is designated as “it” to stand on the outside of the pool with their backs toward the water. The other participants stand in the water along the same edge of the pool. The people in the water think of a color. When everyone is ready, the “it” person shouts out different colors. When the swimmers’ color is called, they try to swim to the other side of the pool. If the “it” thinks they hear someone swimming, they will jump in and try to tag the swimmer as the next “it”. Every time the…See More
