Change the sand on wednesday, Silica #20, clean lateral (clearPro) with water and soap as recommended by technicien at Pentair same result, filter runs at filter runs always around 28-30 psi after…"

"Last night, I did a 6 minutes BackWash and 1 minute Rinse:
Result :
Recirculate = 13 psi
Filter = 28 psi
Is it normal a differnce of 15 psi?

"I called Pentair, And he said pressure is normal for this type of filter.
He told me to install a 45 into the inlet of my heater it should help the quite a bit.
Any comments?"

"Bad news, still make noise and pump because extreamly hot, but now I'm preatty shure it`s the bearings.... so I will get them change this week....

"Ok So a technicien looked at the pump and the shaft is find, bearings are find, it seems to be the impeller that as been installed not correctly, the pump runs very quietly when unassembled.
When I reasembled the pump, still the same noise…"

Hi, I have a SuperFlo, I bought it in July 2010 and run it only for 4-5 months, I live in Quebec.Now its making quite a lot of noise while running, so I removed the cover to check if the impeller was jamb with debries....It was very clean but I've noticed that it was not very centered if I would turn it by hand, And I think it`s the reason of the louder noise. Is it normal that the impeller is not centered while turning by hand? Should I change the bearings or the impeller? Thanks.See More
